Dentist Registration Requirements and Forms

There are 12 classes of registration for dentists. You can click on the class category below for a description of the category, general registration requirements, registration conditions (if any), and application registration package.

The general application processing time is 5-6 weeks. Please note that incomplete applications or insufficient information may delay your application process.

NOTE: As part of the application process, applicants will have to undergo a Criminal Record Check (CRC) process conducted by the Ministry of Public Safety & Solicitor General. CDSBC will send your CRC to the Ministry on your behalf for processing after you submit your initial payment and your notarized copy of your government issued photo ID.

If you would like to check on the status of your Criminal Record Check, please contact the Ministry at 1-855-587-0185 (press option 2). You can also find more information on the Ministry's website here.

The Ministry is currently taking four weeks to process CRC submissions. For those who are or have been registered with another regulatory body, please contact CDSBC registration department at registration@cdsbc.org to determine the appropriate timing for requesting your Certificate/Letter of Standing. This will ensure your Certificate of Standing is dated within our 30-day policy.
