CDSBC Policy Development Process

Updated April 26, 2016

The College is strengthening the way we develop policy. Our goal is to produce policy that serves and protects the public and is attuned to the realities of professional practice.

The current draft policy development process was developed through interviews and a workshop with CDSBC Board, staff and stakeholders.

Watch a video explaining the different phases of the draft process (running time 5:11):

In April 2016, we hosted two webinars about policy development and invited registrants and stakeholders to fill out an online survey. Watch a video of the webinar below >>

Survey

Thank you to everyone who completed the survey on policy development. The survey is now closed.

The results of this survey will help guide the refinement of the future CDSBC policy development framework, along with best practices and input received through stakeholder interviews and a Board workshop. The Board hopes to finalize and approve the new framework in June 2016.

Webinars

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our webinars about policy development at the College.

We recorded a video of the webinar so that those who were unable to attend can view the presentation and hear the question and answer period.
