Overview of the Minimal & Moderate
Sedation Standards

CDSBC presented an Overview of the Minimal and Moderate Sedation Standards during the Thompson Okanagan Dental Society's annual meeting. The presentation was filmed and the video has been published as an educational resource and online course.

This presentation focuses on the safe administration of sedation in dental practices and outlines the requirements set out in the Minimal and Moderate Sedation Standards (PDF).

that this course does not qualify registrants to administer sedation.

The course is available to view free of charge. Registrants who would like one continuing education (CE) self-study credit must successfully complete and submit the test to CDSBC.

Note that, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, all online courses are currently free to facilitate online learning during this time.
