The College has a growing base of options that allow you to earn CE anywhere and at your own pace.

The CDSBC courses listed below can be completed for CE credits, but in-person opportunities for CE are also often available. To learn about upcoming CE opportunities, visit our upcoming events page. Our course fees can be found on the fee page here.​

Avoiding Complaints
This interactive online course will discuss techniques to prevent complaints, what to do if you get a complaint, and how a patient's perception can differ sharply from your own.

Registrants who complete the course will be eligible to submit for three continuing education (CE) self-study credits.

Dental Recordkeeping
This interactive online course will discuss strategies to help improve recordkeeping and patient care in your dental office.

Registrants who complete the course will be eligible to submit for three continuing education (CE) self-study credits.
Minimal and Moderate Sedation
This presentation focuses on the safe administration of sedation in dental practices and outlines the requirements set out in the Minimal and Moderate Sedation Standards.

Registrants who successfully complete this course will receive one CE credit.
More Tough Topics in Dentistry
This interactive online course will provide guidance to help you prevent problems before they begin, and solutions for what to do if/when things do go wrong.

Registrants who complete and pay for the course will be eligible to submit for three continuing education (CE) self-study credits.
Save a Life: The Dentist’s Role in the Early Detection of Oral Cancer
This presentation focuses on how early detection of oral cancer can save a life. The panel discussion is on early detection, which includes biopsy management and sample protection, and the psychosocial impacts of a cancer diagnosis.

Registrants who complete and pay for the course will be eligible to submit for two continuing education (CE) self-study credits.
