We have been working to strengthen the way we develop policy. Our goal was to produce policy that serves and protects the
public and is attuned to the realities of professional practice. A draft
process was developed through interviews and a workshop with CDSBC Board, staff
The process was then put forward for consultation in the form of two webinars and an online survey. Feedback from the survey was considered and incorporated into the policy development framework.
The final policy development process
was approved by the Board at the June 2016 board meeting.
